Beginning his career in 2020, Draco set out to do more than just create music—his goal has always been to connect deeply with audiences through sound. While his style carries echoes of the SoundCloud era’s signature melodic rap, Draco has refined it into something personal, using it as a vehicle to tell his own stories.
Draco.NSL first began releasing music solely on SoundCloud in January 2020. The early years of his career were full of trial and error, but through constant experimentation he worked to carve out his own sound. Over time, he began sharpening his style, elevating not only his writing and delivery but also his approach to crafting each song as its own unique experience.

Draco’s sound carries remnants of the SoundCloud era’s melodic rap style, but over time he has tailored it into his own vehicle for storytelling. His love for melody wasn’t simply inherited from the era itself — it was also shaped by his upbringing in The Bronx, NYC, and his Mexican-American heritage, both of which gave him a natural connection to rhythm and emotion.

Three years into his music journey, around early 2023, Draco collaborated with a friend of a close friend who suggested he begin releasing on streaming platforms. This would mark a new beginning in his journey of exploring new ways to grow beyond the underground scene and reaching bigger audiences while continue to refine his artistry.

By the time of his website’s launch, Draco.NSL had just released 21, a single that celebrates his 21st year of life and the lessons he’s learned along the way. Both personal and artistic in nature, the track reflects on his growth within the music industry as well as his journey outside of it. With 21, Draco signals a new chapter, one defined by maturity, refined storytelling, and a sharpened creative vision.
